BA with no Job Target - 2.0
There needs to be an option to invite someone to take the assessments without having a Job Target

I agree with Rhonda, basically all of our current clients have one BA link to send out, so their workflow is: always: send their one link -> get new BA -> associate with a JA. It is vital that this workflow is still available in 2.0 or the added friction is almost gauranteed to cost us several renewals. -

Michael KirkMost of our clients do not always want to create a job profile. It must be possible to send out a link to assessments without a job or a job profile.
Could be done as the exemption. Meaning that you have to click "Job Target" away. -

RhondaI agree; many clients want to use only one assessment link because they use it in their ATS or an automated email process and don't want to update the link each time; it's easier to get the assessment results and associate after the fact.

Please take this fact into account for an exemption. -

Steve Picarde Jr.There are plenty of reasons to complete a behavioral assessment without being associated to a job. To encourage it being connected to a job is fine. To require it is not a smart move (to put it politely).

Michael KirkJust want to clarify this upvote:
I think we all can agree that the best is always that the clients starts creating a job, then a JA, then send out PI BA + PI CA.
This upvote issue is to secure that we provide the client with the option not to create a JA if not necessary.
So, this upvote is providing us with a back-door (and possibility) to not make a JA if not important or needed.
The default should always be that you start by creating the job, then the JA, and then send out BA’s / Ca’s. -

Steve PicardeThis is an obvious and valuable feature to have. hundreds of reasons its needed. example a new client wants to have BA's for their team, they would have to create job profiles for every member of their organization

Jeb StewartIt is not feasible that every single BA would be tied to a Job Assessment. It would instantly impact our business negatively for all the reasons mentioned above. There are dozens and dozens of use cases where being able to send a BA without a job is necessary.

Beth FrielMany of my clients only associate jobs with upper level positions even though best practice is to associate them with a job. One common case for BA without a job is to create Teams to have TD sessions. This is becoming really common with my clients - especially with the larger ones. The other, where PI is integrated with the ATS would be crazy to work with. This could be a deal killer.

Jon ZulawskiWe have one client in particular who has been using PI for over 20 years, and very few of the BA's they send out are tied to a job target. Having this requirement in place will significantly disrupt their operation and create a massive administrative burden. Totally makes sense to promote the use of job profiles as a best practice, but it's folly to require it.

Alex Tompkins AdminWe are currently doing active research on the associated use cases with this request. Status has been updated accordingly.

Kim PaulsenSeveral of our clients have assessments in their database that are not associated with a job; they are now having to attach them to a fake job to see all the reports in the kit. They should still be able to see all reports without being associated with a job.

Pernille Flensted-JensenAgree with Kim - users need to be able to see the full result / all the reports regardless of whether the results are associated with a job or not.

ScottIt says this is done, how are we to do this? It seems pretty buried in the new functionality if is possible. It still seems to me that I need to associate people with a job.

Jon ZulawskiIt's not done. I connected with Partner Relations earlier today and they confirmed it was only available in partner business accounts, not in client accounts.

Beth FrielWhy is this marked as Done? It is not available in client accounts. For each of my converted clients I advise them to create a Job Target called NO JOB with whatever target they want then send all the BAs from there. Once they are in the system they move the candidates to the job they are interviewing for. Much easier with integrations as well.
